These Terms of Use and Participation govern access, use and participation in Geokana Rider, its applications, website, challenges, events, rankings, activities, meetups, games, promotions and other associated services.
Using Geokana Rider, creating an account, or registering for a challenge implies acceptance of these conditions.

Geokana Rider is a motorcycle tourism platform that proposes challenges, waypoints, places of interest, activities and experiences designed to promote the discovery of territories and routes by motorcycle.
Geokana Rider does not organize speed races, official regularity tests, or timed sporting competitions.
The rankings, scores, stars, classifications, badges, and other elements of the platform are part of a playful and interactive experience.
The goal of Geokana Rider is to encourage motorcycle tourism, adventure, the discovery of places and the participation of a community of riders.
The appearance of different waypoints on a map does not constitute the definition of a mandatory route.
Geokana Rider indicates locations that can be recorded by participants, but, unless expressly stated otherwise in the specific conditions of an activity, each rider decides freely:
which places do you want to visit;
in what order do you want to do it;
which road does it use;
which route it follows;
when it makes the displacement;
whether to continue or abandon a route;
and what navigation methods you use.
The existence of two consecutive waypoints on the map does not mean that Geokana Rider recommends, authorizes, or has inspected the road or route between them.
The final choice of itinerary belongs exclusively to the participant.
Before starting any journey, the rider must personally check that the chosen route:
It is passable;
It is open to traffic;
It is suitable for your motorcycle;
It is compatible with weather conditions;
It has no legal restrictions;
and can be carried out under reasonable safety conditions.
The participant must always pay attention to the actual signage on the ground.
In case of any discrepancy between the application, a map, a GPS navigator or any digital information and the road signage, the official signage and traffic regulations will always prevail.
The participant acknowledges that riding a motorcycle involves inherent risks that can lead to accidents, injuries, property damage, and even serious consequences.
Participation in Geokana Rider does not eliminate or reduce these risks.
Each participant voluntarily decides to make their own journeys and assumes the ordinary risks associated with riding their motorcycle.
Geokana Rider will not be liable, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, for accidents, falls, breakdowns, damages or losses resulting from driving decisions or circumstances beyond Geokana Rider's control.
Geokana Rider will not be responsible for accidents that occur during the journeys made by the participants when such accidents are not the result of an action legally attributable to Geokana Rider.
Among other things, Geokana Rider will not be responsible for:
damage suffered by the motorcycle;
mechanical breakdowns;
punctures;
breaks;
falls;
damage to equipment;
personal injury;
damages suffered by companions;
damages caused to third parties;
fines;
sanctions;
crane expenses;
repairs;
accommodations;
transportation;
repatriations;
economic losses;
or any other consequence arising from the driving or the choice of route by the participant.
All of the above is understood without prejudice to any liabilities that cannot be legally excluded. BOE
Participation in Geokana Rider does not justify under any circumstances:
exceeding speed limits;
perform dangerous maneuvers;
access prohibited routes;
circulate in restricted areas;
stop in dangerous places;
using the phone while driving;
violate traffic regulations;
or endanger the participant or third parties.
Points, rankings, or classifications never justify breaking traffic laws.
The rider must stop the vehicle in a safe place before interacting with those application functions that require visual attention or manipulation of the device.
Each participant is responsible for using a motorcycle:
legally roadworthy;
with the necessary documentation;
with current mandatory insurance;
with the required technical inspections;
and under suitable mechanical conditions.
Geokana Rider does not perform any technical checks on the participant's vehicle.
Damage caused during a challenge is the responsibility of the owner or user of the vehicle and does not generate a right to compensation from Geokana Rider.
Each participant is responsible for assessing whether they are physically and mentally capable of undertaking a journey.
The rider must adapt their routes, schedules and distance traveled to:
their experience;
their physical condition;
tiredness;
climatology;
the condition of the road;
and the characteristics of your motorcycle.
Geokana Rider recommends taking adequate breaks and not continuing to drive when fatigue, weather conditions or any other circumstance may compromise safety.
Maps, coordinates, routes, links to browsers and other location tools are for informational purposes only.
Map services may contain errors, outdated information, closed roads, private roads, restricted access, or unsuitable routes.
Geokana Rider does not guarantee that a route calculated by third-party applications will be:
the safest;
the fastest;
legally accessible;
suitable for motorcycles;
or practicable at the time of the displacement.
The participant must always check the route.
Waypoints are locations used as part of how the game works.
The existence of a checkpoint does not imply that Geokana Rider guarantees:
permanent access to the place;
parking availability;
the existence of services;
the security of the area;
the opening of a road;
or the possibility of reaching exactly the indicated coordinate.
If a point is inaccessible, dangerous, closed, or affected by any incident, the rider must not attempt to access it in an unsafe or illegal manner.
No point, star, ranking position, diploma, trophy, or award takes precedence over safety.
If, in order to reach or register a point, the participant believes that they must perform a dangerous, illegal, or contrary action to the existing signage, they must refrain from performing it.
Geokana Rider incorporates rankings based on, among other criteria, the following:
number of recorded checkpoints;
cumulative score;
stars;
achievements;
and other criteria defined for each challenge.
These rankings are part of an interactive motorcycle touring game.
They do not constitute an official sports classification or an officially federated or timed competition.
Geokana Rider strives to maintain the highest possible accuracy, but the participant accepts that the following may occur:
computer errors;
duplicate records;
synchronization problems;
GPS errors;
geolocation errors;
connection failures;
database problems;
calculation errors;
human errors;
fraudulent records;
cyberattacks;
or unforeseen technical incidents.
These problems may temporarily affect scores or positions.
Geokana Rider may review, correct, recalculate, or rebuild rankings when it detects issues.
No participant acquires an irrevocable right to maintain a particular position while the ranking may be subject to:
validations;
reviews;
corrections;
fraud detection;
pending synchronizations;
or technical issues.
The final ranking will be determined by Geokana Rider after making the corresponding reasonable reviews.
A participant who detects an incident can report it to:
Geokana Rider will analyze the available information and may adopt any corrections it deems justified.
Given the playful, unofficial and technological nature of the rankings, a reasonably unavoidable technical error will not in itself give rise to a right to claim economic damages, lost profits or other compensation, without prejudice to rights that cannot be legally excluded.
Any intentional attempt to gain an advantage through fraudulent means is considered contrary to these conditions.
For example:
falsify GPS location;
use programs designed to simulate locations;
manipulate requests sent to the server;
modify the application;
automating unauthorized registrations;
share accounts;
register points without having performed the required activity;
manipulate databases;
consciously exploit vulnerabilities;
use multiple devices to circumvent controls;
or attempt to alter rankings, stars, scores, or results.
When there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud or manipulation, Geokana Rider may:
cancel records;
cancel points;
modify scores;
invalidate stars;
remove the participant from the ranking;
temporarily suspend an account;
block an account;
or expel the participant from one or more challenges.
In cases of intentional fraud, serious manipulation, or substantial breach of these conditions, Geokana Rider may expel the participant.
Where legally applicable, such expulsion will not generate the right to a refund of the amounts corresponding to services already provided, costs already borne or participation already initiated, without prejudice to the mandatory rights that correspond to the consumer.
A participant disqualified for fraud, deliberate manipulation, or serious misconduct may forfeit any rights associated with the affected outcome, including:
diplomas;
trophies;
acknowledgments;
categories;
classifications;
awards;
or mentions associated with the challenge.
Geokana Rider may also withdraw an award granted if it is subsequently proven that it was obtained through fraud.
The Geokana Rider chat is intended to facilitate respectful communication between community members.
Users must use it with courtesy, good faith, and respect.
Not allowed:
insult;
threaten;
harass;
defame;
discriminate;
impersonate identities;
publish illegal content;
send spam;
to carry out fraudulent communications;
deliberately harm other users;
disseminate private data of third parties;
or use the chat to unfairly damage Geokana Rider's image.
Users will be able to report behaviors they consider inappropriate.
The existence of a report does not automatically imply that the reported user has violated the rules.
Geokana Rider will be able to study:
the affected messages;
the context;
recidivism;
gravity;
and other reasonably available information.
Depending on the case, you may:
warn;
delete content;
limit functions;
temporarily suspend;
or expel the user.
The user is responsible for the content they publish through Geokana Rider.
You will not be able to publish content that:
be illegal;
infringe the rights of third parties;
include threats;
contain personal data of other people without legitimacy;
infringe intellectual property rights;
be fraudulent;
or have the purpose of unlawfully harming third parties.
When Geokana Rider becomes aware of manifestly illegal or harmful content, it may remove it or block access to it in accordance with applicable regulations. The LSSI (Law on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce) establishes a specific regime for user-hosted content and requires diligent action upon becoming aware of its illegality. BOE ( Official State Gazette)
Geokana Rider works to keep its services available, but does not guarantee functionality.
uninterrupted;
error-free;
permanent;
or available 24 hours a day.
Interruptions may occur due to:
maintenance;
updates;
breakdowns;
saturation;
supplier failures;
Internet problems;
electrical failures;
third-party services;
GPS systems;
server problems;
or any other technical issue.
Geokana Rider will not be liable for failures or interruptions resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Among others:
natural disasters;
fires;
floods;
temporary;
wars;
unrest;
strikes;
blackouts;
widespread communication failures;
data center outages;
cyberattacks;
actions of authorities;
supplier failures;
or equivalent events.
Geokana Rider takes reasonable measures to protect its systems, but no system connected to the Internet can be considered absolutely invulnerable.
The platform may be affected by:
cyberattacks;
denials of service;
malware;
exploitation of vulnerabilities;
unauthorized access;
data corruption;
or attacks against suppliers.
When an incident occurs, Geokana Rider will take reasonable steps to try to restore service.
In the event of loss, corruption, or alteration of information due to an extraordinary incident, Geokana Rider will restore the service, whenever reasonably possible, using:
backups;
records available;
recoverable data;
or any other reliable technical information.
It may happen that it is not technically possible to recover all the data that existed immediately before an incident.
In that case, Geokana Rider will be able to resume the game from the last recoverable reliable state.
When a general technical problem substantially affects all participants in a challenge, Geokana Rider may adopt the technical solution it considers most reasonable to restore activity.
For example:
restore a backup;
recalculate scores;
invalidate an affected period;
reactivate points;
extend deadlines;
or continue from the last reliable state.
The goal will be to apply a solution that is as homogeneous and equitable as possible to all affected riders.
Geokana Rider relies in part on services provided by third parties, which may include:
hosting;
servers;
telecommunications;
GPS services;
maps;
Google Maps;
operating systems;
browsers;
mail services;
notifications;
payment gateways;
social networks;
and other technology providers.
Geokana Rider cannot guarantee the continuous operation of services that it does not directly control.
Geokana Rider may modify, postpone, suspend or cancel a challenge when there are reasonable grounds, including but not limited to:
security;
meteorology;
administrative causes;
technical problems;
road closures;
fires;
catastrophes;
material impossibility;
widespread fraud;
or force majeure.
The economic consequences of a cancellation will be resolved in accordance with applicable legislation, the specific conditions of the challenge, and the services that have actually been provided.
Each challenge may have specific conditions relating to:
dates;
price;
checkpoints;
scoring system;
awards;
welcome pack;
minimum number of records;
categories;
deadlines;
or specific requirements.
When there is a conflict between a general condition and a specific condition published for a challenge, the specific condition will apply with respect to that specific aspect, unless it is contrary to a mandatory rule.
The price of each challenge will be indicated during the registration process.
Registration will grant access to the elements expressly indicated in the challenge information.
The existence of a registration does not guarantee the permanent and uninterrupted availability of all technological services.
The rights of withdrawal, return or cancellation will be governed by the applicable regulations and by the specific nature of the contracted service.
Some challenges may include a welcome pack.
When a challenge expressly includes this pack, Geokana Rider will send it to the address provided by the participant.
The user is responsible for providing an address:
correct;
complete;
updated;
and suitable for making postal deliveries.
Unless otherwise specified, welcome packs may be sent via Correos (Spanish Postal Service).
When the shipment cannot be delivered directly, Correos may leave the corresponding notice or make the package available to the recipient at an office or collection point in accordance with its procedures.
The participant must collect the package within the timeframe established by Correos.
If a package is not collected and is returned to Geokana Rider, the participant will be informed when the shipment is officially recorded as returned.
If the rider requests a new shipment, they will have to assume the costs corresponding to the new transport and management.
The amount will be as indicated at that time, depending on the destination and existing costs.
The return of a package due to absence, incorrect address or failure to collect it does not generate an obligation to make a second free shipment.
Geokana Rider can organize an annual event for:
awarding of diplomas;
trophy presentation;
acknowledgments;
community activities;
and meeting between participants.
The specific characteristics of the event will be published for each edition.
For the awards ceremony for the 2026 edition, participants who meet the announced conditions will have breakfast included.
Breakfast will consist of:
a snack, without obligation to offer a specific content;
and a can of soda or beer, depending on availability and applicable legal conditions.
The specific composition may vary depending on availability.
To receive the free breakfast included in the 2026 event, participants must have previously registered using the official attendance form published by Geokana Rider within the established deadline.
This registration is necessary to be able to correctly predict the number of attendees and breakfasts.
Participants who arrive without having previously registered will not be guaranteed a free breakfast.
If it is available, you can purchase it by paying the corresponding amount separately.
The diplomas and trophies scheduled for in-person delivery will be presented during the corresponding event once the participant meets the established requirements.
Failure to attend does not obligate Geokana Rider to make a subsequent shipment free of charge.
For the 2026 edition, a participant who does not attend the event may request that their diploma and/or trophy be sent by mail.
Shipping will have an additional cost of:
€10 for shipping and handling.
Geokana Rider will ship the order once payment of the amount has been confirmed and a valid postal address has been provided.
A different amount may be set for future events, which will be communicated in advance.
The prizes, trophies, and diplomas depend on compliance with the conditions defined for each category or challenge.
Geokana Rider will be able to review the results before submission.
If fraud, obvious error or serious non-compliance is detected, delivery may be suspended until the issue is clarified.
Unless the terms and conditions of a promotion expressly state otherwise:
